A Pfizer Inc. laboratory has identified Viagra, the generic version of the popular erectile dysfunction drug, on the market. Viagra is the drug of choice for men with erectile dysfunction and is manufactured by Pfizer Inc., the company behind the company’s impotence drug.

“The potential benefits of sildenafil for the treatment of erectile dysfunction may be greater than the side effects of sildenafil,” the spokeswoman said.
The study was funded by Pfizer, which said that it was the first study to directly compare the effects of sildenafil and Viagra, and that the data presented in the study “was based on clinical trials that have been performed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of sildenafil in patients with erectile dysfunction,” it said.
Viagra is not listed on the label of the drug.
The company’s laboratory said that the company has not yet confirmed with its scientists that sildenafil could increase the blood flow to the penis.
